Display pallet for the Norwegian Brewery Association

When the Norwegian Brewery Association made the decision to change the carriage method of bottles from layers of cardboard on a wooden pallet, to plastic trays they also decided to investigate the use of plastic pallets.

The new plastic pallets had to be economical, re-usable, and suitable for both wet and dry beverage formulae. But it also had to be a hygienic and aesthetically pleasing pallet with the option for display use, with a loading capacity of 250 kg.

Schoeller Arca Systems suggested the 600 x 800 mm BiPP 6080 HOD 3R pallet with 3 runners, an open deck with a weight of 5 kg and a flat racking load performance of 500 kg.

The plastic pallet appeared to be very successful. Customers were delighted with the quality of the plastic pallet and the Norwegian Brewery Association benefited from a decrease in the number of damaged goods and more efficient distribution of the product. As a result of the durable materials and multi-use solution it is expected to be also financial a successfully.
