Schoeller Arca Systems has developed six new types of plastic pallets, combining innovative design with the benefits of the company’s many years’ experience in the industry. These new additions to the range are lighter, yet capable of carrying heavier loads than comparable earlier models. They also feature innovations such as pockets for RFID tags and improved ergonomic design.
The new pallets are the 1208 MR+ 3R, 1208 HR+ 3R, 1210 HR+ 3R, 1210 HR+ 6R, 1210 HR+ 5R and the BiPP Everest 1208 HR 3R IV, all of which are available both as a BiPP and EOS pallet, except the BiPP Everest.
Plastic pallets are constantly gaining market share thanks to their outstanding properties in comparison to wood: excellent hygiene, consistent quality and dimensions, no splintering, no nails, no water absorption and relatively light weight.
Schoeller Arca Systems offers two kinds of pallets: BiPP and EOS. BiPP pallets are reusable and designed for use in any closed loop or pooling environment. EOS pallets are specially developed for use in export: they meet the ISPM N° 15 regulations and do not require fumigation or heat treatment. To fulfill the market’s growing demand, Schoeller Arca Systems is constantly developing its pallet assortment and is proud to launch this latest range.
BiPP and EOS 1208 MR+ 3R
This medium open deck pallet, measuring 1200 x 800 mm, is provided with three skids. It weighs only 11 kg but can handle dynamic loads of up to 1000 kg, perfectly filling the gap between the light and heavy segments. Due to its unique height of 145 mm, plastic and wooden pallets can be used in combination in automated systems. Nine pockets for vertical integration of RFID tags are a standard feature. The pallet is easy to clean and therefore suitable for food applications.
BiPP and EOS 1208 HR+ 3R
The 1208 HR+ 3R pallet has the same characteristics as the 1208 MR+ 3R, but weighs 18 kg and is a heavy duty pallet. It can handle dynamic loads up to 1250 kg and flat racking loads up to 1250 kg.
BiPP and EOS 1210 HR+ 3R, 1210 HR+ 6R and 1210 HR+ 5R
These are three heavy duty open deck pallets, measuring 1200 x 1000 mm, developed for the handling of extremely heavy loads. With only 20 kg of their own weight, they have a loading capacity of up to 1500 kg. The 1210 HR+ 3R is provided with three skids, the 1210 HR+ 6R with six skids and the 1210 HR+ 5R with 5 skids. The pallets are easy to clean and meet all HACCP requirements, making them suitable for food applications. Nine pockets for vertical integration of RFID tags are standard features. All three are available as BiPP and EOS pallets.
With 5 skids and a 22 mm rim, the BiPP 1210 HR+ 5R has been specially developed for the automotive industry.
BiPP Everest 1208 HR 3R IV
For pool activities, such as in the automotive, retail, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, Schoeller Arca Systems has developed a new returnable pool pallet, the BiPP Everest 1208 HR 3R IV, measuring 1200 x 800 mm. The design of the BiPP Everest IV is based on the pallet that Schoeller Arca Systems developed for the American pool company iGPS, to replace the wooden GMA pallet.
The new generation of Everest pallets combines two production technologies - twin sheet and injection moulding - making this pallet lighter and stronger than the previous generation of BiPP Everest pallets. Weighing only 17.5 kg, the BiPP Everest IV has a loading capacity of no less than 1250 kg. The BiPP Everest 1208 HR 3R IV is provided with anti slip, four hand holes in the top deck and four hand grips on the underside of the deck. This makes the pallet easy to handle, while standard RFID pockets allow vertical RFID tags to be integrated. It is also available with a smooth top deck for food applications; easy to clean, it meets all HACCP requirements.
